Charles Heery 1866 ‑ 1934.

Charlie was the oldest surviving son, born on 1 August 1866. He married Elizabeth Callan on 16 August 1890. She died at the age of 60 on 9 February 1931 and he lived another three years. They are buried in Ford Cemetery, plot number K334. They had 10 children, all of whom survived except Eileen, their next‑to‑last child who died in infancy. Two sons and three daughters married and had families. Of the others, Janet married Bob Birchall; Rita married Bob Best; Patrick was unmarried and Matthew married Maisie.

The married sons and daughters gave Charles and Elizabeth 22 grand‑children, eleven of whom bore the family name. Mary the eldest married James Faulkner; Charlie married Katy Lee and their children mostly emigrated to USA;  James's wife was Sarah Jarvey;  Katy's first husband, Colin Greaves died and she married Jim Boyle; Lily married Jim Loughran.
